The technique is awesome, I love the face of the animal, I love the tones and colors.
There is one element I truly hate - this image looks like a stuffed animal head hanging as a trophy on the wall. This is my first impression when I looked at this photo. I hate stuffed animal trophies and to anyone using those throphies in their homes I wish that somebody else should stuff them too to hang them in their homes. I wish this practice would be banned. I hope it was not your intention on the photo.
Other than that - the technique is good.
