CommentsDevious CommentsSo i need to put more glow in the arch and cliff, less glow in the hair, and blurry the bg, so the focus will be in the girl?
Thank you so very much, Miskis! I do want to improve and to it I do need help! You're an angel gor helping me! -- "Inheritors of a dying world, we call thee to the Living Beauty! Wanderers in the wild darkness, we call thee to the gentle Light! Long hast thou dwelt in the darkness. Quit the night and seek the Day!" no dear,(in MY opinion only) less glow just where the sky meets ground., it's like when you cut/blended you feathered it. It gives it what I call a glow, bleeding into each part if that makes sense, instead of a clean merge. And not really a glow with the hair, the back side, there should be shadow, even though you can see thru hair strands the shadow would still fall on it in the back, and where light would hit it it would have a generally lighter hue. (trick on a new layer and a big brush plop a lighter color on to of finished hair and change it to soft light.. play with opacity and such, but it gives it a nice shine)With the BG you could go more blurry, I really was talking about the mix of focus you have going on. choose on and go with it, either crisp and clear of blurry. The focus here is kinda haphazard, pieces seem in focus while others aren't.
I hope that makes sense! -- You are either pitiful or powerful... you can't be both. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Help fight breast cancer with just a click. I do feel very grateful for all help you give me! Thanks a lot! I'll try harder and harder to improve in my next works... I have very hard time trying to learn about shadows/ligths -- "Inheritors of a dying world, we call thee to the Living Beauty! Wanderers in the wild darkness, we call thee to the gentle Light! so.. the other stuff, I think the combination of crispness and blurriness in the image is a bit off, for me it makes it haphazard. Focused here, no so much there.. it seems to make the image choppy and staged. I like the focus on her, the light and position, keep working on hair lady!!, watch the lighting there, hair is really pretty reflective but will follow the rules of light and shadow. Also watch for the dreaded glows when blending images, where the arch/cliff and sky meet has an off glow to it.
