Spirit Wolf

When the theme "Arbitrary", for our 12th chronicle at neosynthesis was unvieled it was a happy suprise.
Words were randomly picked from the dictionary and the art group was presented with a list of these words, which we in turn were to pick one from as our theme.
The list included 'torrid' 'under' 'arctic' & 'recurve' along with a handfull of others..myself being late as usual was abit disappointed that 'arctic' was taken as it was the first word that popped out at me..but..scroll down and what do my eyes see but 'wolf' and as cliche' as it may be..I ADORE these furry critters..it could have only been better had the word been 'mask' or 'dolphin' I went to bed that night and awoke with this image (or something very similar and this is as close as I got in attempting to recreate it) in my head...so within the first 12 hours of knowing the theme it became...

Though it is mostly painted now, It will sit in photo manipulation because I HATE it when people put digitally painted photos in as 'paintings' ..it's cheating
